Ikusasa Rail (formerly known as Grindrod Rail Construction and RACEC), is an industry leader in rail track construction, rehabilitation, electrification and maintenance. Ikusasa Rail has been in the rail track infrastructure business for over 60 years. Within the public sector, Ikusasa Rail engages primarily with state-owned companies (SOCs), rail and port authorities and local and international entities responsible for building and maintaining rail transport infrastructure. The business has extended its services to include the supply of quality second hand rail material as well as a rental option for specialised on track equipment (specialised rail plant).
The Ikusasa Rail group has a presence in Mozambique, Ghana, Sierra Leone and South Africa.
